Thanks for sharing Adam.
Reading your report brought back memories of my ascent-when you pass the “fork,” but it still goes on forever!
This route was my first 14er, on Memorial Day, 1998. We were able to strap in at the summit and get some warm-up turns before dropping into the west side of the couloir.
Powder, then corn, then mashed potatoes.
I would like to ride it again, but I think I’ll take the mellow ascent next time!

Peak 10 doesn’t look too bad in that picture, and that was before 2-3′ of snow decided to fall out of the sky.

I’m back in town now, so let’s get back at it this weekend!
