		<description>Great blog.  I found it looking up crampons for soft boots, and then being directed to splitboard forums.  I am also fond of soft boots for most mountain applications.  My single layer mountaineering boots are not so hot for the ride down.  

Next time you&#039;re in the Cascades you should think about swinging south for a trip up Shasta.  I did it a few weeks ago via the N  face and it was SWEET.  My first 14er...</description>
